Norfolk Island has over 70 low-tax shops!

Norfolk Island has become one of the leading low-tax shopping destinations for Australians and New Zealanders. In fact, some visitors come to Norfolk just to shop. There are more than 70 low-tax free shops, many of them specialising in a diverse range of quality merchandise which is not readily available in Australia or New Zealand.

There are a variety of shops offering something for everyone, from Lego to liquor, cosmetics to cameras, gift ware, clothing and shoes. There are also shops that specialise in local art & craft work. A range of shops offer imports from all over the world at prices considerably less than in Australianshops.

The main shopping area is located in Taylor's Road and the Villas and most shops are open daily except Wednesdays, Saturday afternoons and Sundays. There is a lovely market held on Sunday mornings in the Bicentennial Complex.
