Morning tours

Behind the Hedges Tour: Tuesday @ 8:30am
Travel to Anson Bay to visit a small hobby farm, which has been instrumental in improving our local livestock industry. Close by see a demonstration at Norfolk's major pottery and browse at the Cottage Pottery shop. After a delicious morning tea at a scenic location, visit a beautiful private and commercial garden that supplies our local florists with stock. Visit Peter Christian's Kentia palm plantation, which exports around the world. Exclusive to Pinetree Tours - visit "Sweeties" & learn how we make chocolate on Norfolk.
The Greenfingers Tours: Friday @ 8:30am
A tour featuring some of the Island's most lovely gardens. Throughout the morning we visit a nursery owned & operated by a young Norfolk Islander, a private fruit & vegetable market garden as well as visit a gorgeous private garden with a spectacular view of Kingston & Nepean & Phillip Islands. Our local historian will give a talk on this area with a history dating to 1788. Morning tea is served in a scenic location.
Breakfast Bush Walk: Wednesday & Saturday @ 7am
Take your choice of a stroll through One Hundred Acres Reserve or for the more energetic, a leisurely 3.5km walk through scenic Mt Bates to Captain Cook Monument . At the end of the walks we meet on the clifftop for a delicious breakfast barbecue. (We do not recommend this walk to anyone with medical conditions).
Clifftop BBQ Breakfast: Wednesday & Saturday @ 8:15am
If you prefer not to rise early and bush walk, but would like to have breakfast on the cliff top, join the walkers at Anson Bay and share in the delicious barbecue breakfast.

Convict Settlement Tour: Tuesday, Friday & Sunday @1pm

Join us on an "In Depth" tour of the historic Georgian settlement of Kingston Walk, through the cemetery & hear the history of interesting convict & colonial headstones, hear stories of the houses along Quality Row. Walk through the ruins of the New Gaol, see the Pier Store, Boat Shed and Crank Mill. Afternoon tea included.
Island Culture Tour: Wednesday & Saturday @1pm
Experience the culture of our forebearers! From our mutineer ancestors & their Tahitian wives came the arts of wood craft, weaving, cooking & our Norfolk language. On this tour see a woodturning demonstration using Norfolk timber, visit an Island home where you'll learn about our cooking. An Island weaving demonstration & a presentation on the Norfolk language will follow the afternoon tea break.
Tin-a-aii Tour: Thursday @ 1pm
A photographer's delight. Enjoy spectacular scenery & view Norfolk's most eye catching & beautiful places on this 3 & a half hour tour. Afternoon tea included.

Evening dinners & shows

Night as a Convict Dinner: Friday @ 6pm
A fun night out for all ages! Dress as a convict & join in with the Commandant for an evening of gaiety, feasting, singing & dancing. Great food! Great fun! (outfit supplied) Norfolk's only dinner & dance night - this is the most popular feature dinner on Norfolk.
Progressive Dinner to Island Homes: Monday, Wednesday & Friday @ 6pm
Enjoy a 4 course meal progressing to different Norfolk Island family homes. A fun night and a great way to meet the local people and sample some of the Island dishes.
Fletcher's Fate Mystery Dinner: Wednesday & Sunday @ 6:30pm
A fascinating evening of interactive theatre, intrigue & mystery. This entertaining play, examining the possible last movements & final whereabouts of the famous mutineer. Fletcher Christian, is dramatically acted out by a 6 character cast over a sumptuous 3 course dinner.
Island Fish Fry: Tuesday & Thursday @ 5pm
Enjoy a feast of Island sides, salads, homemade bread & fresh fried fish, followed by Island desserts & tea or coffee. Watch the sun set from Puppys Point on Norfolk's beautiful western coastline & enjoy some local entertainment. This is a great meal to have before the Bounty Show or Sound & Light Show.
Sunday Supper: Sunday @ 5pm
Enjoy a 3 course dinner during which there will be an audio visual presentation on the history of the oldest church in Norfolk Island. After dinner we will transport you to All Saints Church, Kingston, for the evening service and popular singalong of favourite hymns & songs.
Sound & Light Show: Monday to Saturday @ Nightfall
Nightfall at Kingston brings a different mood to the Convict Settlement. The stillness and the stars are there just as they were before mankind arrived in 1788. However, with the dramatic use of real life sounds, theatrical lighting & costumed actors, the stillness is broken as we take you through the horrifying decades of Norfolk Island's convict era.
The Mutiny on the Bounty Show: Thursday @ 8pm
See descendants of the mutineers bring the story of the famed "Mutiny on the Bounty" and historic events to life in a 1 ½ hour show performed in an outdoor amphitheatre on Norfolk's western coastline. An event not to be missed!
Wonderland by Night: Monday, Wednesday & Saturday @ 7:15pm
The setting is 10 acres of magical Norfolk pines & bushland lit up like an enchanted forest. Meander along (or ride in the "moon buggy") a gentle winding path with Archie, a descendant of the Bounty mutineers, as he recites his poems and lights up the dioramas. Afterwards enjoy a light supper.
